Menu path: Tools > Synchronization Service
The Synchronization Service is required to update the Data Crow Reader app. Its the gateway to your module and item information. Once it is running, your app can connect to it by scanning the QR code. The app will take it from there.
Before you start the service, make sure to select the correct IP address. The Service Address drop-down contains all possible IP addresses, but you do need to pick the most applicable IP address from this list. The ones ending with .1 are generally too generic for Data Crow to use. In the example below I would pick the bottom one.
After that, you simply start the service. After which it will present a QR-code. Scan this QR code using your Data Crow Reader app.
Keep the service running until the app has completed the synchronisation. The app will ask you to login. Of you have set up a user enter its credentials. If you haven’t, log in with username SA and no password.
